Perry Wharrie spent many years in custody and found an interest in art, which was a release from the monotony of prison life. He obtained a degree in Art History and went on to study Fine Art at KIAD on his release. He obtained a degree in Art History and went on his release. He has exhibited in a number of group and solo shows the years and continued his practice with commissioned works and gallery sales.
